Shipping Policy


All orders are processed within 2 to 3 business days (excluding weekends and holidays) after receiving your order confirmation email. You will receive another notification when your order has shipped. Due to COVID, processing times may take up to 5 days to process an order and there may be potential delays due to a high volume of orders or postal service problems that are outside of our control. 

Domestic Shipping Rates

Shipping charges for your order will be calculated and displayed at checkout. All orders are sent via USPS Priority Mail.

Order Status

When your order has shipped, you will receive an email notification from us which will include a tracking number you can use to check the status. Please allow 48 hours for the tracking information to become available.

Damaged Items

In the event that your order arrives damaged in any way, please email us as soon as possible at info@thelitdistrictdc.com with your order number and a photo of the item’s condition. We address these on a case-by-case basis but will try our best to work towards a satisfactory solution. We are careful with the packaging of all items and are not responsible for any damage caused by the handling of USPS. All Items are insured and we will work with all customers to file a claim and have the item replaced.

Lost or Stolen Packages

Please understand that The Lit District is not responsible for any lost or stolen packages. If you receive an email of confirmation for your delivery, please contact the USPS with 24 - 48 hours if you have not received your package. Once shipped, an order's tracking information is outside of our control, and as much as we'd love to be able to assist, final delivery is out of our hands. We cannot replace missing or stolen packages.

Delayed Packages

Unfortunately, we are unable to view any additional tracking information beyond what USPS communicates on their tracking site.
